Sludge Dewatering Equipment

Sludge dewatering is not simply a process of removing water. The material’s solids content, particle size, viscosity, and settling behavior all determine which dewatering method, throughput, and equipment design will work. Selecting appropriate sludge dewatering equipment directly affects the condition of the dewatered solids, as well as its transport, disposal, and continuous plant operation.
Our sludge handling equipment includes belt filter presses, decanter centrifuges, disc stack centrifuges, and multi-disc screw presses for municipal and industrial sludge.
- Belt filter presses utilize gravity followed by multi-stage pressing to dewater municipal and industrial sludge.
- Decanter centrifuges use continuous centrifugal sedimentation to separate suspensions and sludge across a range of throughputs.
- Disc stack centrifuges combine high-speed rotation with stacked conical discs for fine-particle, liquid-liquid, and solid-liquid separation.
- Multi-disc screw presses thicken and dewater continuously, using slow-speed screw pressing and a self-cleaning filter.

Belt Filter PressThe DT-type belt filter press is a sludge dewatering machine used to process waste activated sludge (WAS) and mixed sludge from biological treatment at municipal wastewater treatment plants. The sludge dewatering press lowers the moisture content and volume of the sludge, which makes it easier to transport, landfill, incinerate, or process further.

Decanter CentrifugeDecanter centrifuges are widely used as sludge dewatering equipment and liquid-solid separators at municipal wastewater treatment plants, industrial wastewater plants, and in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, and brewing industries.
-
Disc Stack CentrifugeDisc stack centrifuges are industrial centrifuges designed to separate solids from liquids, or one liquid from another, in suspensions and emulsions. Common applications include mineral oil purification, dairy separation, vegetable oil refining, pharmaceutical production, beverage clarification, and starch manufacturing.

Multi Disc Screw PressThe DL-type multi-disc screw press is a form of sludge dewatering equipment that thickens and dewaters sludge in municipal wastewater treatment as well as in food, farming, dyeing and printing operations. The multi-disc screw press uses screw compression and filtration through fixed and moving rings to remove water from the sludge and forms a sludge cake for subsequent handling and disposal.
