Odor and Air Pollution Control Systems

Odor and Air Pollution Control Systems

Odor and air pollution control systems begin with matching the treatment method to the nature of the pollutant in waste gases. Acidic and alkaline waste gases are treated through liquid-phase absorption and neutralization, while biodegradable odorous gases utilize microbial degradation. These industrial odor control systems allow stable compliance and maintain operating costs.

We supply packed bed scrubbers and biological odor control biofilters for industrial and municipal odor and air pollution control.

  • The packed bed scrubber works as an industrial gas scrubber with spray and packing absorption, countercurrent gas-liquid contact, and a mist eliminator. It treats acidic or alkaline waste gases from the chemical, electronics, electroplating, acid pickling, and other industries, in single or multi-tower combinations within vertical or horizontal layouts.
  • The biofilter utilizes microbial biofilm on the packing surface to degrade pollutants. It targets odorous gases such as hydrogen sulfide and ammonia, with a hydrogen sulfide removal rate of at least 99%. This serves municipal WWTP deodorization, pumping stations, sludge treatment, farming, and food processing.

Each technology can be supplied as a standalone deodorization system or combined odor control units (OCU) depending on the gas composition and treatment requirements.
