Packed Bed Scrubber
The DGS-B packed bed scrubber, also used as a chemical wet scrubber or packed tower scrubber, absorbs and purifies acidic or alkaline waste gases from production processes within the chemical, electronic, electroplating, acid pickling, metallurgy, battery, textile, and machinery manufacturing industries, etc. As an air pollution control system, the packed tower scrubber can be configured as a single or a multi-tower arrangement, following a vertical or horizontal layout, based on the waste gas composition, concentration, air volume, and site space.
The scrubber gas absorption tower consists of a tower body, spray system, packing bed, circulating liquid system, mist eliminator, circulation pump, as well as gas inlet and outlet. Waste gas flows countercurrent to the scrubbing liquid through the packing bed, which increases gas-liquid contact so that absorbable pollutants transfer into the liquid and are neutralized or absorbed. The treated gas passes through the mist eliminator, which removes entrained droplets, prior to discharge.
- Utilizes a spray and packing absorption structure that increases contact between the waste gas and the absorption liquid
- Absorption liquid, number of packing layers, and spray system are configurable based on the waste gas properties
- Mist eliminator that reduces liquid droplets carried over in the treated gas
- Tower body in PP, PVC, or FRP selected based on the corrosiveness of the medium
- Single or multi-tower design based on airflow, pollutant concentration, and site conditions
